Even More Questions You Might Be Concerned About.
1. Can "too much" Zeolite
drops cause a person to become too alkaline?
No – the
ability for the Zeolite to reversibly exchange hydrogen ions will aid in
reducing the acidity of the digestive tract and the bloodstream. This is
entirely dependent on the concentration of the hydrogen ions (the pH) of the
system. It can never make the area ‘too alkaline’.
2. Does Zeolite have a direct effect
on parasites? Or does it just work on parasites by making the "environment
" in the body undesirable to parasites by cleaning up toxins and adjusting
pH?
The Zeolite only has a direct affect on
highly-charged particles and compounds that can fit inside the pores of the
mineral. Parasites will not fit within the Zeolite and will not be removed as a
primary function of the product. On the other hand, the Zeolite does systemically
improve the environment of the body and does allow the immune system to
function more efficiently. This would have a secondary affect on parasitic
infection.
3.
Can water be decontaminated by adding Zeolite drops?
The Zeolite drops will aid in pulling
out metal contamination. In fact, the particular Zeolite that is the main
constituent of the drops is used in water filtration units to aid in the
removal of certain heavy metals and toxins. The Zeolite drops will
not kill all bacteria and will not adsorb protists or other contaminants.
4.
Does the research show that Zeolite crosses the blood-brain barrier? NOTE: We
are seeing some evidence in the field of this possible action.
It's yet to be investigated if the Zeolite
crosses the BBB. It certainly could, based on its size and relative activities.
5.
It is being said that the Zeolite only works by going through the
digestive system and being absorbed in the intestines and then into the blood.
It has also been said that Zeolite will have no effect if taken sublingually or
if used topically. Several of us are seeing results using it both SL and
topically. It makes sense to us that if it is effective against Epithelial cell
toxins, is absorbed by the mucous membranes in the intestines, and effective
when injected directly into a "toxic growth", that it should also be
effective when used SL and topically. What does the science indicate on
this?
The Zeolite in the drops is generally
too large to be absorbed sublingually through the buccal mucosa. If you are
placing drops under the tongue, there is a greater chance that you are
eventually swallowing the mineral and allowing for absorption through the
digestive tract rather than absorbing it sublingually. I will also caution you
that the FDA considers anything reported to be administered ‘sublingually’ as a
“drug” and tends to investigate supplement companies that make this claim on
their products.
As for topical application: It's never been indicated that topical
application would be ineffective. In fact, some of the original work was
conducted with the Zeolite being directly introduced to skin cancers in a
topical formulation. Research suggests that a sunscreen or suntan lotion with
the Zeolite added would be highly effective at preventing new skin cancer and
even treating pre-clinical cases of skin cancer.
6. I
have people wanting a more exact amount of time to stay off of the Zeolite
drops when having chemo. "Three or 4 days" or "several
days" before and after seems too vague for some people to feel comfortable
with.
As always, if someone is under a
physician’s care, has a diagnosed medical condition or is taking prescription
drugs – they should consult with their healthcare provider before using any
dietary supplement. That being said, there are only a few contraindications
when it comes to the Zeolite and chemotherapy. Remember that the Zeolite
in the drops only reacts with small, highly charged particles and
compounds. The chemotherapeutic agent(s) that fit this description are those
that contain platinum (i.e. cisplatin). If a patient is on this particular
chemotherapy, they should avoid taking the Zeolite drops for two days
before and two days after their treatment(s).
7.
Does Zeolite have any Far Infrared or Negative Ion properties?
No research has been conducted on this,
but it is unlikely. The Zeolite reacts with small, highly-charged positive
particles and compounds.
8.
Is there any experience yet with Autism or Multiple Chemical Sensitivities in
using Zeolte?
No official clinical research has been completed in this area so far. Anecdotal evidence / testimonial HERE suggests strong ties to heavy metal toxicity and ailments such as autism and Alzheimers Disease.
9.
If an organism or toxin has a positive charge but is too large to fit inside
the Zeolite, will the Zeolite attract the toxin
magnetically without engulfing it, "dragging" it through
the urinary system and out of the body?
There may be positive portions of a larger
molecule that may fit inside the pores of the Zeolite. If that occurred, there
would be some chance that the molecule would be pulled out with the Zeolite. I
must add the caveat that this Zeolite has a specific reactivity series – as such,
if a molecule with greater affinity approached the Zeolite, it would be
exchanged for the larger, less attractive, molecule.
10. If someone is taking oral chemo (Tamoxifen) daily for 5 years
how can they use Zeolite drops?
Zeolite is not contraindicated with
Tamoxifen.
The drug, Tamoxifen is an estrogen
receptor blocker that is used long-term (usually five years) in the prevention
of hormone-sensitive breast cancer reoccurrence. There is strong data to
suggest that 120mg daily of soy isoflavones provides similar benefit to
Tamoxifen without the potential for side effects.
11. Will the Zeolite work for Lyme's
disease?
Research has not been done in this area
directly. It would be recommended that a person take the antibiotic therapy
prescribed by their doctor for this bacteria. Zeolite would help to
"clean up the environment" so that the bacteria doesn't have an
environment that it enjoys setting-up housekeeping in. Zeolite has been
shown to be effective in aiding with the neurological damage, which can be
caused by Lyme's, and is much of the time left for the body to deal with,
even after antibiotic therapy.
12. Will Zeolite pull metals out of gold
or amalgam fillings?
No, the heavy metal molecules are too
large in this form to be affected by Zeolite. Once the metals from fillings
have vaporized and are "loose" from the fillings, in the body,
Zeolite has the ability to attract and engulf them. Also see HERE
13. Can Zeolite drops be used in the eyes,
ears, nose, enemas, or douches?
Zeolite liquid drops have been researched
in an eye drop application and was found to cause irritation in the eyes, so
this application is not recommended. Research indicates that
"topical" applications can be extremely effective, so using
the Zeolite drops in ears, nose/sinuses, douche, or enema form could be very
helpful.
